Another Bucket kicked!! Trip to Burlington Mass. to see Rick and Family May 28 to June 1st 2024 Just barely back from a great trip to finish my 50 states and I felt the urge to go to New England and visit family. I had not seen Like, Mandy and Wyatt for a while, I had nothing else to do so I decided to impose on Rick and Jo. When I called they were happy for me to come and visit. (or at least they said they were I thought at the time) They proved it by scheduling a trip to Fenway Park to see the Detroit Tigers and the Boston Red Sox. Being a Yankees fan, my desire to see family, my first visit the oldest continuing Baseball Park, sing Sweet Caroline with 30,000 people and enjoy seeing the Tigers win was overwhelming. It happened that the Red Sox inducted Trot Nixon, Jonathon Papelbon and Dustin Pedroia to the Red Sox Hall of Fame that day . Pete Marek, a long time friend of Rick from Clarkson University days joined us. As you can see the stadium was very full and we had great seats.
